setting a level line - batter boards in place
found footer from old porch 3 inches into first hole - had to break out the power hammer
holes dug - measuring up and leveling - getting ready to pour
#1 and #2 poured - #3 almost ready - Then ran into this MF rock
pipe repair and seating for two - hardheaded and determined
#4 - dug - leveled - ready to pour - poured #3 and #4 - 13 eighty pound bags in 1 hr and 45 minutes
temporary ledger and buildup beam for checking level - need to build a model to see it
lumber and gravel - i can see my floors
damp shipment - more braces than a room full of teenagers - warning ducks
always - dug around by hand - got a rope around it - called it a whore and pulled hard
ledger board up - major step needed for everything else
ledger board up solidly - bolts - wood stained - bit destruction
it's level eat me whore - second notch and support beams (2) 2"x10" x 12' and (1) 2"x10" x 12' screwed in - all surprisingly level
so far 16 joists / 2 brackets per x 10 screws each / haven't screwed this much since i was a teenager
railing posts up / looks like cement day tomorrow
end of deck done for stairs / rail posts up /ready to start putting down floor
threw up some of the 16 footers for a visual
major thanks to ph and bob / couldn't have gotten this much finished with only two people or me / toboggan boards
T minus 13 days and counting
next phase done / now 9000 balusters to sand and paint / fourth bandana / third shirt / 1/2 gallon of water and a quart of pedialyte / BRUTAL outside
first section done / second section up / one side done / wood cut and ready for sanding for next two sections
